I am applying for the Nurse Practitioner position at Neuse River Primary Care. I carry an independent panel of roughly twelve hundred patients and see eighteen to twenty a day, and your posting's interest in group visits is why I am writing rather than waiting for a closer match.
I built the diabetes group visit at my current practice, which moved a set of fifteen-minute appointments into a format where patients heard from each other rather than only from me. It also freed clinic time, though that was the second reason rather than the first.
Your posting describes a panel being rebuilt after a retirement rather than a new one. Inheriting a panel means absorbing another clinician's decisions, and I would want to know how much time is allowed for that before the visit targets apply.
