Paving the Way Multi-Service Institute (PTW-MSI), established in 2015 in Washington, DC, is a community-based behavioral health provider delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health services to youth, families, and individuals across the District of Columbia and surrounding communities.
Our mission is to empower individuals to become self-sufficient and productive members of their communities through innovative, accessible behavioral health services rooted in clinical excellence and community partnership.
PTW-MSI specializes in:
• Victims of Crime (VOC) behavioral health services
• DC MAP care coordination and referral support
• School-based mental health programming
• Fee-for-service outpatient clinical treatment
• Community outreach, prevention, and psychoeducation initiatives
We focus on reducing barriers to care by meeting individuals where they are — whether in schools, community spaces, or through coordinated referral systems. Our trauma-informed framework ensures services are culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with the unique needs of the populations we serve.
