The technologist will perform and assist with interventional procedures utilizing advanced radiographic techniques while ensuring patient safety and comfort through proper preparation and monitoring. Responsibilities also include administering contrast, reviewing patient history, documenting in the EHR, upholding aseptic technique, and managing exam coding and archiving.
Candidates must be graduates of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited invasive cardiovascular technology program. Required certifications include CPR based on AHA standards and either an ARRT Certificate, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, along with Basic Life Support (BLS).
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology.
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
