Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in a related field (though a Bachelor's is required, the Master's is preferred) and hold a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) state license. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably with elementary-aged children (5-11) and experience with CBT, is required.
