The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, collaborating as part of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities. The LPN provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support that impacts patient outcomes and care delivered to patients and families.
Candidates must hold a valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and current healthcare provider BLS certification before completing orientation. No prior job-related work experience is required, but strong organization, basic computer knowledge, and effective interpersonal communication skills are necessary.

Cardiac Telemetry Unit Shift: 7AM-7:30PM Status: Full-time 72 hours per pay period/ 36 hours per week Facility: Upper Valley Medical Center General Summary/Responsibilities: The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/ indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others.
