The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing routine sonographic exams in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, adhering to established protocols for positioning, image quality, and ALARA principles. This role involves utilizing specialized equipment and software to produce images and enter patient data into hospital databases.
Candidates must have education equivalent to two to three years of occupationally specific training beyond high school or an Associate's degree in Ultrasound technology or a related field, with required experience in maternity care and obstetrics. ARDMS certification in the specific modality is mandatory within 12 months of hire.
Responsible for performing routine sonographic exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting in accordance with established protocols for positioning, image quality, and ALARA principles. Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce sonographic images, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Contributes to the overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.” The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
