The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality MRI exams while ensuring patient safety by strictly adhering to established protocols and administering contrast when necessary. Key duties also involve adjusting equipment factors like TR, TE, and field of view to produce optimal images and guiding patients through the process with empathy.
Candidates must possess ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and BLS certification, with a state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required if applicable. A venipuncture certificate may also be necessary depending on state regulations, and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
