The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with experience in outpatient care. The role involves providing comprehensive care to women, including gynecological exams and preventive care. This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at one of our Eugene, OR locations. Perform comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and health screenings for female patients. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic and reproductive health conditions. Provide contraceptive counseling and prescribe birth control methods. Conduct prenatal and postnatal care, including routine check-ups and education. Manage menopausal and hormonal concerns, offering treatment plans and support. Perform procedures such as IUD/Nexplanon insertions/removals, Pap smears, and colposcopies (if trained). Educate patients on sexual health, family planning, and disease prevention. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasounds, bloodwork, and screenings. Collaborate with OB/GYNs, primary care providers, and specialists as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
What do you need to bring to the role: Experience: Previous experience in women’s health, gynecology, and/or obstetrics required.
Education commensurate with state licensure requirements for a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oregon with prescriptive privileges.
