Nurses will implement physicians' prescribed plans of care, which includes performing assessments, administering medications, treatments, and therapies for medically fragile patients. They must also maintain accurate and timely documentation and provide health education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and care maintenance.
Candidates must possess an active RN or LPN license issued by a State Board of Nursing and current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or BLS certification, welcoming new graduates who will receive training. Required abilities include proficiency in basic nursing skills, knowledge of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, and effective communication and organizational skills.
Implements physicians' prescribed plan of care, including assessments, Administration of medications, treatments, and therapies. Maintain ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on patients in accordance with Specialty Care Pediatrics policies and procedures in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner. Provides health care/management, education and support of patient and/or family members regarding diagnosis, plan of care, preventative and maintenance of care. Maintains clinical expertise and competency as well as demonstrates thorough knowledge of procedures to deliver quality primary health care in coordination with the health care team. Identifies, reports and responds promptly to changes in patient’s condition according to Specialty Care Pediatrics policy. Willing to travel to any clinic location as needed.
