This role involves performing pulmonary assessments, testing, treatment, management, and care for infants, pediatrics, and young adults with cardiorespiratory deficiencies. The therapist will also assess and maintain respiratory equipment and provide consultation to other staff regarding client care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited respiratory care program and hold an unencumbered license from North Dakota as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. A minimum of one year of respiratory therapy experience, along with current BLS and PALS certifications, is required.

Be a part of an organization whose mission is to make independence a gift to those in your community! $7,000 SIGN-ON BONUS Location: Jamestown, ND Shift: 4-5 Days a Week, Flexible Hours (No Weekends or Holidays) Job Schedule: Full Time Weekly Hours: 40 JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to perform pulmonary assessments, testing techniques, treatment, management, control, and care for infants, pediatrics and young adults with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiorespiratory systems. This position on their daily shift assesses and maintains respiratory equipment and supplies; and provides consultation to other staff in the care of these clients.
Education and/or years’ experience required: Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program Possess a current, unencumbered license from the State of North Dakota, as a Respiratory Care Practitioner One year of respiratory therapy experience BLS Certification PALS Certification Valid drivers license Preferred Skills and Abilities: Three years Respiratory Therapy Experience Experiences with respiratory equipment such as CPT, suction, pulse oximeters, ventilators, HFNC, heated/cool mists, cough assist, CPAP/Bilevel Oxygen analyzers, End tidal CO2 monitors, Bernoulli alarm system, concentrators, and nebulizers Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES (scope and complexity): This position assumes the authority, responsibility and accountability for evaluating, modifying and coordinating respiratory treatment plans; evaluating equipment settings, making adjustments and recommendations as needed; and for completing diagnostic respiratory testing to and for the clients at ACC. The Respiratory Therapist will work with nursing staff and physician to best meet the respiratory and overall needs of the individuals served.
