The Medical Assistant provides patient care under physician direction, which includes preparing patients, assisting during treatments, coordinating follow-up care, and accurately recording all treatment details in the electronic health record. Key duties involve escorting patients, taking vital signs, obtaining medical history, assisting with virtual appointments, and maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms.
Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of combined education/experience, and current CPR/First Aid certification; CMA/RMA certification is preferred. Candidates must be proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate resourcefulness in problem-solving within a fast-paced setting.
