The primary responsibility involves assisting in healthcare delivery by conducting pre-visit planning, reviewing patient records, and preparing patients for examination, including taking vital signs and updating medical histories. Additionally, the role includes performing direct patient care services like giving injections, maintaining clean exam rooms, managing medical supplies and vaccine logs, and handling administrative tasks as needed.
Candidates must possess a High School degree or equivalent, along with either one year of clinical experience or graduation from a Medical Assistant program. A preference is given to those with two years of experience in a similar healthcare setting and customer service experience, and BLS/CPR certification is required within 60 days of hire.
