The MRI Technologist will perform MRI exams to produce diagnostic-quality images following established protocols, which includes verifying orders, conducting safety screenings, and preparing/monitoring patients. Core duties also involve applying MRI safety practices, safely administering contrast, reviewing images for acceptability, and ensuring proper documentation and transmission to PACS/RIS.

Job Summary
The Wellstar Diagnostic Float Team (WEST Team) supports a variety of imaging services across our facilities. Region Two includes Douglas Medical Center, Cobb Hospital, and Paulding Medical Center.
As an MRI Technologist for Region Two, you will apply your expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at each location you serve.

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program, along with a minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting.
