Provides physical care and emotional support to patients under the direction of a registered nurse. Maintains a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment while handling clerical and communication tasks.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification, with CPI certification obtained during the introductory period. Previous experience in inpatient behavioral health and a degree are preferred.
Non-licensed staff member who, under the direction of a registered nurse, provides physical care and emotional support to patients, while maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment. In addition, responsible for the clerical and communication functions as needed.
