Qualifications

  • Professional license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Pediatric experience preferred

Our multi-specialty medical group is comprised of over 1,600 clinicians practicing in seven counties in northern California, most within a 50-mile radius of Sacramento. SMG contains primary care and specialty Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians -- nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, licensed clinical social workers and licensed marriage and family therapists, who make up about 20% of our group. Requirements

Must hold a professional license as an LMFT or LCSW and a Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program. Experience with adult-geriatric populations is required, while pediatric experience and Spanish bilingualism are preferred.
