About the role

The LVN delivers technical nursing care to residents and may assume the charge nurse role within the Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities include administering medications, managing narcotic records, and participating in the planning and evaluation of resident care.

Nature and Scope The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) delivers technical nursing care to Residents using the nursing process, functioning as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).

The LVN may assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Location We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.

Compensation Compensation Philosophy: We have 30 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 30 years of relevant experience.

Compensation range: $34.99 - $49.89 Job Status / Shift Information Per-diem, non-benfited Flexible Shifts

Qualifications

Experience: At least one (1) year experience as LVN Education: Current California LVN license. Graduate from an approved LVN program with an associates or equivalent degree. Current CPR Certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to apply good clinical judgment, plan work, establish priorities and maintain flexibility. Proficient written and verbal skills. Ability to use a computer proficiently.

Organizes and directs shift responsibilities and duties Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care. Prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physicians. Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift. Review medications and completeness of information. Requirements
