About the role

Provide care for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions within an integrated behavioral health campus. The role will evolve into a 100% addiction-focused outpatient practice.

Position Overview BayCare Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Addiction Psychiatrist to join our expanding BayCare Behavioral Health team at the Adult Treatment Center in New Port Richey, Florida.

In this role, you will serve individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions within a highly collaborative care environment.

This role offers the opportunity to practice within an innovative, integrated behavioral health campus that includes Florida’s first Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center, built on a “No Wrong Door” model connecting patients seamlessly to mental health and addiction services.

You’ll work in a collaborative, resource-rich environment designed to support high-quality, team-based care.

As part of a strategic expansion of outpatient behavioral health services, this position is expected to evolve into a 100% addiction-focused practice.

Initially, responsibilities may include a blend of addiction and general outpatient psychiatry as the program continues to develop and grow.

Qualifications

Position requires: Requires Board Certified in Psychiatry. Preferred Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years of eligibility) of Addiction fellowship. 2 or more years' experience is preferred. Company Overview

Requirements

Requires Board Certification in Psychiatry. Board Certification or Eligibility in an Addiction fellowship and at least 2 years of experience are preferred.
