The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist provides direct peer support to individuals and families, helping them develop and maintain key skills for recovery. They conduct individual and group activities to increase readiness for rehabilitation and facilitate community role development.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver's license and lived experience with substance use disorder. Candidates must be a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach or willing to obtain certification within one year of employment.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required. Valid Driver’s License, reliable and insured vehicle and acceptable driving record, required. Must have lived experience with Substance Use Disorder and have the ability to forge mutually beneficial relationships with people served while maintaining strong boundaries/ethics. Must be a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) or be willing to obtain CARC within one year of employment. Open Sky pays for your certification!
