• Description: Mon Health Medical Center is the flagship member of Mon Health. The 164-bed hospital traces its roots back to the first hospital in Monongalia County in the early 1900s, and was officially established by an act of the Monongalia County Court in April 1943. We have one of the only Outpatient Surgery Centers in our region, offering same-day total joint replacements, cosmetics, and more. In addition, Mon Health Medical Center is proud to partner with and provide an established 25-bed long term acute care hospital - providing a critical link in the continuum of care for North Central West Virginia's sickest patients.
