This role requires demonstrating knowledge in managing all patient types, including acute, chronic, neonates, and geriatrics, while utilizing advanced critical thinking skills. The therapist must perform effectively and communicate clearly during both emergent and non-emergent situations.
Candidates must possess an active Registered Respiratory Therapist License in Florida and hold current certifications for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as per department standards. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, though new graduates may qualify for a sign-on bonus with less than 1 year of experience.
