The Certified Medical Assistant will welcome patients, record vital signs, and assist providers with clinical treatments and examinations. They are also responsible for administrative tasks such as managing patient records, transcribing orders, and maintaining medical supply inventory.
Candidates must hold a Medical Assistant certification and a BLS provider certification. A high school diploma or one year of relevant experience is required, with one year of CMA experience preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Welcoming and interviewing patients, accurately measuring and documenting vital signs, and preparing examination rooms to ensure a smooth, comfortable visit. Assisting with treatments as directed and supervised by the providers Performing select clinical duties and providing essential administrative support, including managing patient records, answering calls, and handling necessary charting. Documenting provider-patient encounters, meticulously listing diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Transcribing patient orders for lab work, testing, and medications.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education OR experience, if applicable.
What additional preferences we're seeking 1 year of CMA experience is preferred.
