The Clinical Laboratory Technologist Generalist performs diagnostic procedures in their assigned area of expertise. This role is also responsible for maintaining excellent rapport between laboratory staff and other hospital departments.
Candidates must possess the required Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (TN) and must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. An Associate's degree in MLT or a related field is required, although a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
The Clinical Laboratory Technologist Generalist is responsible for performance of diagnostic procedures in the area for which they are assigned. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in areas that they are licensed. This individual helps maintain an excellent rapport between Laboratory staff and other hospital departments.
