This position involves assisting professional and para-professional staff in rendering health care services within a primary care or community health center setting. Some locations may require regular driving as part of the duties.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and be a graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or complete the internal training program. Competency in phlebotomy is required at the time of hire, along with obtaining First Aid and BLS/CPR certification within 30 days.
