The Occupational Therapy Assistant will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans to deliver therapy treatments aimed at restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing patients' physical abilities and independence. This role requires addressing the whole patient while collaborating with peers and making necessary referrals to ensure patients receive the highest quality of service.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program meeting AOTA & ACOTE standards and must have obtained initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Additionally, applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
