Lead community engagement efforts across Delaware to increase awareness of Hepatitis C prevention and treatment. Organize and attend stakeholder meetings, coalitions, and community forums. Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups. Conduct public presentations and educational sessions on prevention, substance use, and infectious disease. Distribute educational materials and promote health literacy within high-need communities. Advocate for individuals experiencing barriers to accessing care. Coordinate outreach activities that promote screening, prevention, and linkage to services. Maintain updated community resource lists and referral pathways. This position is based out of our Wilmington location but will require travel statewide to support outreach events and engagement activities.
Qualifications for this position are: REQUIRED: Associate’s Degree with 3 - 5 Years of Prevention/Addiction Experience, OR... REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Human Services or a Related Field with 1 – 3 Years of Prevention/Addiction Experience REQUIRED: Valid driver’s license with 2 points or less REQUIRED: Reliable personal vehicle available for statewide travel Pay: Starting at $21/hr Commensuration based on experience, education, and certification!
