We currently have an opening at our Oconomowoc clinic on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with scheduling ranging from 2 to 4 times per month based on patient volume. We also have some optional per-diem availability at multiple Wisconsin-based clinics.

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including 2D echocardiograms, using specialized equipment to produce high-quality images. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions. Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results. Analyze images to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards and communicate findings to physicians. Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring patient confidentiality. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible patient care. Stay current with the latest developments in ultrasound technology and techniques. Assist with patient flow, collect patient history and vital signs, and perform EKGs when trained.

Qualifying degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Echocardiography, or a related field (Preferred). Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (Required for Sonographer). Wisconsin License/Registration (Required). Certified Cardiographic Technician Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer or Echocardiographer (Required). Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Hard Skills: Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Understanding of medical terminology. Ability to accurately measure and calculate diagnostic data. Familiarity with relevant imaging software. Job Hazards: Exposure to infectious diseases.
