About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care for Medical and Surgical patients, ensuring alignment with the hospital's medical plan of care and policies. This includes providing direct and indirect patient care, assessing physical and psychosocial conditions, and communicating changes to appropriate medical staff.

The Staff Pad has partnered with a premier healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA, to hire a compassionate, skilled and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) committed to delivering excellent patient care and supporting a strong team culture, for the Surgical Unit. As an RN you will plan, coordinate, and evaluate individualized patient care while collaborating with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, high-quality treatment. Shift Options: Part-Time | PRN | Nights What You’ll Do Deliver quality patient care and assess patient needs Monitor conditions and respond to changes Collaborate with healthcare teams and communicate critical updates Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans Maintain accurate patient documentation Promote a safe and organized care environment Support and mentor nursing staff as needed including LPNs, CNAs, and new nursing staff Maintain licensure, professional standards and required certifications Perform Patient Care Technician and Unit Coordinator functions as needed Perform additional unit support duties as required Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and service excellence practices What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ASN, or BSN) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia Current CPR certification; ACLS and PALS preferred At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred Additional Requirements Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and patient-centered care Collaborative, professional, & adaptable with commitment to safety and accountability & growth What You Can Expect Exceptional patient care starts with a team that feels valued, supported, and empowered - backed by comprehensive compensation and benefits every step of the way

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Professional Nursing and hold a current Registered Professional Nurse license in the State of Georgia, along with current CPR certification. One year of acute hospital experience is preferred, and the role requires flexibility, adherence to professional ethics, and the ability to oversee LPN and CNA staff.
