The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care following established policies and procedures, systematically evaluating the quality of care and advocating for the patient and family in developing unique care plans. This involves utilizing the nursing process to assess data, determine diagnoses, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes across various dimensions of human response to health problems.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing or possess equivalent education for licensing, along with one year of registered nurse experience. Physical requirements include constant standing and walking, frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs, and frequent use of vision and hearing for patient monitoring and communication.
