The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized care interventions across the continuum of patient care, focusing on physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and age-specific needs to achieve desired outcomes. This role involves systematic assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation of care, acting as a patient advocate, and supervising LPNs and assistive healthcare providers.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an ED RN, Critical Care, Urgent Care, or Paramedic, along with required Telemetry experience or certification. Education requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and an active NYS Registered Nurse license, while maintaining BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Description JOB SUMMARY The Registered Nurse uses the nursing process in Nursing Practice to assist the patient to achieve optimum health; exercises Leadership as part of the multidisciplinary team; incorporates lifelong learning and practice competency into his or her Professional Profile; and incorporates research, evidence based practice into Practice Outcomes. The Registered Nurse demonstrates competency in caring for complex patients and participates as an essential member of the multidisciplinary team to improve the quality of care in the clinical area.
Per Diem, Various Shifts.
Base salary of $42.07 - $52.58 per hour. Additional increases based upon preferred certifications and degrees.
