The Medical Lab Technologist performs diagnostic testing related to medical disorders by preparing specimens, running various tests across sections like Hematology, Chemistry, and Microbiology, and analyzing, reporting, and recording the results.
Candidates must possess a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in a relevant science field, including specific semester hours in biology and chemistry, and hold MLS or MT certification from a nationally accredited organization like ASCP.
License/Certification Requirements MLS or MT certification by an a nationally accredited organization, such as ASCP. (Required)

Experience Three to six months of experience to acquire a professional level of knowledge in Medical Technology and to acquire expertise in the operation of equipment and the performance of clinical diagnostic testing procedures. (Required)
