The Nurse Clinician functions in a leadership role as a direct care provider and clinical expert, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include developing and implementing practice guidelines and maintaining standards of care through staff development and education.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Georgia. A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse and current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Functions in a leadership role as a unit-based clinical resource and educator. Responsible for staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement. Supports established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education. Serves as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
