The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will exercise independent judgment in patient assessment, diagnosis, and initiating medical processes according to Virginia regulations and established protocols. Responsibilities include developing differential diagnoses, synthesizing patient data, evaluating patient response to care, and managing critically ill cardiovascular patients in collaboration with physicians.

Education: Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of a post masters certificate program for nurse practitioners, OR certificate from an education program that is accredited by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs/Schools, American Association of Colleges of Nursing of the National League for Nursing.
No experience required, but 2-3 years preferred.
American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required.
3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse Experience in all methods of anesthetic delivery including but not limited to intravenous/general, spinal and epidural Experience in broad spectrum of clinical services- including but not limited to joint replacement, spine, vascular, minimally invasive surgery, interventional radiology, maternal/obstetrics, endoscopic, diagnostic imaging.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, holding a Bachelor's degree in Nursing plus a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent advanced certification from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Required credentials include active CRNA certification, RN Compact License (depending on residence), and licensure/eligibility as a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia, along with necessary prescriptive and DEA licenses if applicable.
