The role involves creating long-term impacts by encouraging, mentoring, and coaching individuals to achieve their goals, often by following their Individual Support Plan during activities like visiting parks or sensory gardens. Responsibilities also include fostering independence by teaching daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and laundry.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, and while no prior experience is required as paid training is provided, related experience is helpful. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to positively impact individuals' lives.
