Under the direction of the RN, the ED Technician facilitates patient care by providing advanced physical care and clinical procedures, providing patients with comfort measures and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Works as a member of the ED patient care team within the guidelines of his/her certification under the direct supervision of an ED Physician.
Candidates must be certified as a Florida Paramedic and possess BLS certification, with ACLS being preferred. An Associate's Degree is preferred, and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
