Veterinary Technicians perform basic medical, diagnostic, and laboratory procedures under veterinarian direction, including preparing exam rooms, taking client histories, and performing physical assessments. Key duties also involve administering nursing care, monitoring patients, performing in-house lab tests, and assisting with diagnostic imaging and surgical procedures.
Candidates must be a licensed veterinary technician in the state of Virginia and possess a minimum of three years of clinical veterinary hospital experience. Essential requirements include excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, flexibility, the ability to multitask, and basic veterinary medical terminology knowledge.

Pay range is $25.00 - $29.00 per hour depending on experience.
