The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for covering clinical offices based on operational needs, which includes assisting with patient examinations and treatments, taking vital signs, and recording patient history and charges. They must also participate in patient education, communicate effectively, and function within their scope of practice while maintaining knowledge of infection control.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and current California licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, graduating from an accredited school. Two years of experience in a multi-specialty group setting is preferred, and current AHA BLS Healthcare and IV Certifications are required.
