The technologist performs various diagnostic radiographic procedures to create images of body structures for medical diagnosis and treatment across OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Essential duties include obtaining patient history, accurately documenting procedures using RIS, ensuring image quality control, and strictly adhering to ALARA principles for radiation safety.
Candidates must have education from a two-year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology and be registered by the ARRT or registry eligible, holding Massachusetts DPH licensure. Preferred experience includes 6 months in a hospital setting, specifically with C-arms and portable equipment.

Education: Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology Licensure, Certification, Registration: Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program in Radiography. Certified in basic life support (BLS). Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Candidate must be proficient in the use Radiologic equipment including C-arms/portable or in the absence of this skill the ability to be trained to a level of competency. Experience Required: 6 months hospital experience preferred; with c-arms and portable experience. Pay Range: $35.00 - $52.01 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
