The Allergy Technician will be responsible for preparing and administering allergy tests and subcutaneous injections, mixing allergenic extracts, and monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Key duties also include documenting encounters, managing orders in the EHR, and educating patients on treatment plans and injection techniques.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with either a current CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification OR one year of recent allergy experience; three or more years of allergy experience is preferred. Current BLS certification is also mandatory.

We are seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented Allergy Technician to support our Providers and Allergy team in delivering high‑quality, safe, and effective allergy testing, immunotherapy, and treatment services. What You Will Do Greet, room, and prepare patients for allergy testing and immunotherapy. Prepare and administer allergy tests. Prepare and administer subcutaneous allergy injections. Monitor patient reactions and adjust dosing as appropriate. Mix and prepare allergenic extracts for subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy. Perform blood draws for labs and RAST testing. Identify and respond to anaphylactic symptoms; provide timely emergency care. Document allergy encounters, enter charges, and manage allergy orders in the EHR. Schedule allergy appointments and manage work queues. Educate patients and families on testing, treatment plans, and in‑home injection techniques. Triage and respond to patient messages. Maintain logs of medication expiration dates and OSHA‑compliant safety standards. Stock and order supplies; maintain sterile environment. Support new employee training. Collaborate with Providers, Clinical Leaders, and Allergy/ENT teams. Travel to other CEENTA locations as needed. A Typical Day You’ll welcome patients, perform allergy testing and injections, mix immunotherapy vials, monitor reactions, complete documentation, respond to patient questions, and ensure rooms are stocked and prepared. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on clinic needs. QualificationsEducation & Experience High school diploma or equivalent, required.
