The nurse independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families. This includes planning and implementing appropriate interventions and evaluating effectiveness, adjusting the plan as necessary to provide safe and effective care in conjunction with the medical plan of care.
Candidates must possess a current Kansas Registered Nurse license or a current Registered Nurse license from a compact state, which must be in the nurse's state of residence if a compact license is held. The role involves independent patient assessment and care planning within the Emergency Department setting.

PRN Nights What You'll Do In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care. Requirements Current Kansas Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
