The Clinical Research Support Assistant provides support to the clinical research team by maintaining study inventory, assisting with biospecimen collection and processing, and supporting logistics related to clinical trial conduct. This individual ensures study kits, investigational devices, and general research supplies are appropriately stocked, organized, and tracked. Additionally, the position assists with phlebotomy, specimen handling, specimen shipping, data entry, and the documentation of research procedures to support protocol compliance and data integrity. Education/Experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred. Previous experience in a laboratory, healthcare, or research setting preferred. Phlebotomy certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe (as required by the institution or state regulations). Familiarity with basic specimen processing, handling, and biosafety protocols preferred. IATA certification for shipping biological specimens, or willingness to complete training upon hire. Skills Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with inventory or specimen tracking systems a plus.
