  • Department Overview Why This Role Pediatric Cardiologist – Clinical Associate in the Community Eugene / River Bend, Oregon Who are we looking for? We’re seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join a community-embedded practice serving the Eugene/River Bend region in Western Oregon. This role is ideal for a physician who seeks to deliver high-quality clinical care, has a passion for building meaningful relationships with patients and partnering providers, and enjoys the rhythm of community-based practice—without heavy academic demands. You’ll practice in a Clinical Associate model, with strong connections to a regional tertiary pediatric cardiology program for advanced diagnostics, interventional care, and surgery. Function/Duties of Position What will you do in this position? Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric cardiology care Interpret transthoracic and fetal echocardiograms, ECGs, ambulatory heart rhythm monitors, and exercise tests Serve as a trusted cardiology resource for local pediatric and family medicine providers Participate in inpatient consults at Peace Health River Bend Hospital in Eugene Work seamlessly with OHSU as the affiliated tertiary pediatric cardiology referral center with excellent interventional and surgical outcomes Become part of the OHSU cardiac team, with all of the modern diagnostic resources and strong multidisciplinary support Build long-term relationships with patients, families, and the community Focus on continuity, collaboration, and family-centered care Enjoy a balanced, sustainable workflow. Required Qualifications What qualifies you for this role? Requirements

Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and have completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology. Applicants must be Board Certified or Eligible and eligible for Oregon medical licensure, demonstrating a passion for community-based pediatric care.
