The role involves performing non-invasive cardiac tests and procedures at a skilled technical level within the Cardiac Testing Center, while also assisting Physicians/RNs as needed. Key duties include ensuring safe and accurate test data, promptly reporting abnormal findings, and managing patient records using the order entry system.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of clinical background demonstrating knowledge of cardiac procedures like EKG and stress treadmill, along with basic arrhythmia recognition. Required certifications include EKG Certification and current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals.
