The Physical Therapy Assistant treats patients according to a program designed by the Physical Therapist and coordinates with team members. They are responsible for documenting patient treatment and progress while maintaining professionalism and compliance with ethical standards.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a clinical care setting, preferably with home health experience. An associate degree from an APTA accredited school and a current PTA license are required.

Experience: Two (2) years experience as a PT in a clinical care setting. Preferred, Home health experience.
Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrates proven decision-making skills. If required to make visits, Hepatitis profile. Must read, write and comprehend English.
