The Occupational Therapy Assistant will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans and delivering therapy treatments to help patients get well. The role involves executing programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence while collaborating with peers and making necessary referrals.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program adhering to AOTA & ACOTE standards and must have obtained initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensure or eligibility for licensure as required by the state of practice is also mandatory.
