Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)

We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for resident care and strive to providing high-quality services.

Duties

Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers Provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff Assist residents with ADL's (activities of daily living) and personal care; including, but not limited to, bathing, grooming, meal assistance Monitor/Record/Report Vital signs Support residents in Assisted Living and specialized units such as Memory Care Assists with healthcare procedures as necessary within state regulations Utilize electronic medical record efficiently and properly Communicate appropriately with residents, resident families, and staff member Maintain a clean and safe working environment Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents

Requirements

Qualified Medication Adie in the state for which you are applying Insulin Certification, preferred, not required Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, or caregiving, is preferred, not required Ability to provide compassionate care Current CPR/First Aide certification preferred *if not certified, willing to obtain through the company Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Ability to commute to Greenfield, IN 46140 Physical Requirements: Job may require sitting, standing, and walking regularly Lift/move 50+ lbs.
