The GNA performs activities of daily living according to residents' care plans and checks vital signs while accurately recording the information. They assist residents with medical appointments and participate in social programs.
Candidates must have an active GNA license in Maryland and current CPR certification, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. These qualifications ensure that the GNA can provide appropriate care and support to residents.
