The role involves performing all aspects of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography across all patient populations. Principal duties include assisting physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion, and diagnostic/interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cath Lab, along with managing post-procedure care.
Responsible for assisting physicians to perform invasive cardiology and radiology procedures; scrubbing and maintaining sterile field; monitoring and documenting procedures in interventional procedural lab Responsible for hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation, documentation during interventional procedures Performs post procedure care and vascular access site management including arterial and venous sheath removal and closure device utilization Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on all equipment used in lab, including imaging systems/fluoroscopy Maintains supply inventory.
