Duties: and Responsibilities:
Provides anesthesia for patient care when indicated
Administers nitrous oxide when indicated
Manages emergency medical procedures when necessary
Monitors safety practices and infection control standards in the dental clinic.
Authorizes and documents radiographs indicated for patient care.
Authorizes dental hygiene treatment plan based on review of medical/dental history.
Administers pharmaceutical medications when indicated for patient care.
Performs other clinical duties as directed by the Director of Dental Hygiene.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
