The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. This role functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning and implementation.
Required education includes a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, along with state licensure. Preferred education is a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and preferred experience is 2 years as a practicing Physical Therapist in a healthcare setting.
