The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant will adhere to documentation policies, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and complete administrative tasks supporting the operating unit. Responsibilities also include performing reassessments, adjusting treatment plans, and demonstrating skill in using treatment modalities and equipment.
Candidates must be a graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program, holding an Associate degree, and must possess or be eligible for a Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant License. Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
Education: Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
